How does it work ?

The Sunwater-Factory is an innovative device that allows dirty water to be filtered through the use of solar energy. Even water contaminated with bacteria or chemicals can easily be filtered without the need of electricity. Tainted, brackish water is converted in to clean, usable water. This is accomplished the natural way, through condensation. The unit is completely self contained and is ideal for regions with a high amount of solar exposure. There is no need for electricity or a fuel operated motor.

The uniqueness is in the way the units can be connected. As a result, connecting as few as 20 units could produce 30 liters or more of clean drinkable water in as little as 24 hours.

The System can be explained in four easy steps:

Step 1: raw water is filled manually or automatically inside the middle of the Sunwater-Factory. The raw water gets heated by the sun and will evaporate.

Step 2: the evaporated clean water condenses inside of the Pyramide …

Step 3: … and flows into the drinkwater canal. On this point we can connect many units together. A sensefull number is 20 to 50 Units to have a good outcome for a small community without any infrastructure supply.

Step 4: At the end of the system the water flows into a bucket or in case if it stands on a roof, it just can flow inside the building by using a flexible tube.
